LATEST E-9-1-1 DEVELOPMENTS
Roger Humphrey is serving his second term as President for the Alabama National Emergency Number Association - 9-1-1 Cullman County is among the first to implement Phase II Wireless Location Data in the State of Alabama. Emergency Callers must have a Phase II capable cellular telephone to be located. Anyone needing additional information on this should contact the E-9-1-1 Business Office during normal business hours between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Public Sale Map Books dated September 2003 are now available at the E-9-1-1 Business Office for a fee of $6.00 each. Wall maps are also available for a small charge of $10.00 one part or $15.00 two part. Custom maps are also available when time permits for a small fee. Donna Smithson should be contacted for new addresses in Cullman County. If a person lives in The City of Cullman, The City of Hanceville or Garden City they should contact those locations for addresses. Any agency that needs a speaker for the E-9-1-1 Office should contact Dorothy Maddox or Roger Humphrey. Board Meeting Time: The Cullman County E-9-1-1 Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 pm. The public is always welcome to attend. This board meeting is normally held in the Governor's Room at the CRMC Hospital located on Alabama Highway 157, Cullman, Alabama. |
